Well, I've talked to several people in the two weeks since the challenge was posted; I've also neglected a lot of conversations that I should have had. Some of the highlights:
1. One of my sisters: I don't talk to her very much and we are not as close as we used to be, which I really don't like. But I have gotten out of my comfort zone and done it a couple times, and it has never been unfruitful.
2. My dad: I talk to him all the time, deep conversations a good percentage of the time, but it's still good to keep it going.
3. My best friend: I've had several deep conversations with him lately, especially now that track has started!
A few that I've neglected:
1. A dude at my dad's work: I felt like I should go over and start a conversation while my dad was talking, but I ... didn't. Why? I don't know. I guess I thought it might be awkward or something since I couldn't think of much to say. Or it's because I like to have control over everything, and getting out of my comfort zone and starting conversations is kind of tossing that control aside.
2. My uncle: He started a conversation with me that got kind of deep, and I had a question to ask him to prod it a little further, but I kept hesitating, and never did it.
3. My grandpa: I don't know him very well at all. I mean, I've known him since I was a teeny youngin but I've never really heard much about his life! So I felt called to ask while we were doing dishes, but again ... I kept hesitating and never did it. :(
